Hiiii #mushroom people I share photos of my backyard tree that spawned some little friends over night LMAO I’m wondering though if anyone could confirm that this is actual chicken of the wood vs the lookalike 🙂

1st photo of a set of four (four viewpoints of same subject)

Pictured : a lightning struck redbud tree that is very much dead but still standing. Various vegetation surrounds the ground around said tree. The bark is dark grey in nature with a darker brown middle that is scattered with shelf style mushrooms that are HOPEFULLY chicken of the woods (a yellow to light orange mushroom). There is a collection of it at the center of the trunk that is hollowed out from the strike, with a smaller collection near the top where different large limbs branch out.

The same redbud pictured before now from the “front” instead of the “back” — more mushrooms are present. Some moss is growing on one of the dead limbs as well.

A better shot of the small collection talked about in the 1st picture that is from the front. Shows a better view of the hollowed out tree as well where it almost looks split in two.

A full shot of the front of the dead redbud tree with a large collection of mushrooms in the front of it.

Haven’t seen a rabbit oc with back problems — missed opportunity if you ask me since most rabbits can break their back just by thumping too hard hahwieiwowjwjwj just ya know… Thinking about furry designs again randomly at work and it got me thinking of a rabbit design lmao

Work has been busy these couple weeks and I’ve also been hyperfixated on playing metaphor refantazio off stream lmao so I think I’ll only try to sneak in a art stream here or there for the next couple weeks and focus on prepping debut stuff again when I can 💕

I think when I reopen comms I will have cheaper lineart only commissions in the future ! 💕 Will only take probably 2 when I do open them just as a test run and might even do a poll for making a free to use base of some sort — I think imma make a true art bucket list tomorrow for things to do yesyes

M ☆ Y ✨ @laxlucario.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

For tomorrow’s art stream imma be working more on the first digital print that I’m finally getting the balls to finish — the moon herself from #hades2 / #hadesII ms #selene 🌙 I’m both so excited for this but also so scared that it’ll look bad in the end but I BELIEVE IN THE MOON

Close crop to avoid too much spoiling— of Selene (Hades II) sketched with a pale red to fill in the lines. She looks to the viewer with her usual calm and encompassing smile with her various moon phases jewellery on display

All drawn by me of course in Clip Studio Paint yesyes ! This is also only an early stage sketch I saved so there is more progress already done to this piece ! 💕

SayoLara finale prediction

Fan art for the anime series Goodbye, Lara (2026) parodying a scene from The Spongebob Squarepants Movie (2004). Lara and Mari are standing on a beach, drawn much smaller than normal, gazing up past the frame. Mari is wearing her boxing gloves. An off-screen figure says, "I can take you there!" to which Lara replies, "Who are you?" We then see a low angle shot of a man in swim trunks, rendered in a much more realistic style. Lara's dagger hovers distantly in the sky behind him. "I'm David Hasselhoff," the man says. The scene ends with Lara smiling and throwing her fists up in the air in celebration while Mari holds her boxing gloves over her chest, both shouting "HOORAY!" in unison.

I need to do a self portrait one day but it’s also very hard for me to draw myself since I actually um… haven’t taken a picture of myself since 2019 and now feel like exposed when anyone takes a picture of myself and dysphoric if I take a selfie like UGHHHHGWGWGWHW it’s so frustrating but one day

Please don't send me ai generated images as references in your comm request🫠 I don't need it because I have a functioning brain with imagination. I would rather have just a text description, or a moodboard, or even a really badly drawn doodle. If I get a request with one, I'm rejecting that shit

｡* ⌘ crisp evening ⌘ *｡

Digital art of my character Harlow riding his unicorn, trout. They’re briskly walking through a snowy unmarked path the colors are of the sun setting in snow so very soft muted blue-ish purples. The piece is bordered with a dark muted purple and the nature background itself is neatly inside a simple white filigree design. Trouts tack is just a fur saddle pad and a neck halter with no bridle. The fur pad has a water can, a dagger, and random gold metal work tied to it. There’s also a saddle bag with long fringe at the rear. Harlow isn’t dressed much for he snow but rather summer yet shows no sign of discomfort.

Harlow has aglowy dark brown complexion. He is an elf and does have longer ears but his left is cut short. The scars shown litter mainly his face while one strikes across the left of his chest. His right eye is red with a white pupil while is left is a typical Witcher yellow. He has thick brows and lashes, full lips, upturned eyes, and a quite a few moles. His tight curly tricolored hair (grey, white, and dark grey) reached his hips.

Trout is an 19hand blue roan paint. His face is a beautiful ombré of darker to lighter earthy browns, his eyes red. He has a scarred sun like star beneath his long opal horn on his forehead and a white snip at his nose. He has 3 white socks with light peachy colored hooves (one being black with no sock) and two white paint markings going down the middle of his neck and one at his rear. His mane is bluntly cut and sticks up sort of like a zebra. His long white unicorn tail twists elegantly and at the end of it is long black hair that is bluntly cut

hating your art is not a virtue, it's a sign of burn out or mental illness. the same way your muscles ache if you exercise too much or your stomach hurts if you're starving. learn to identify it as a sign you're pushing too hard or expecting too much of yourself somehow and check in with yourself.
