Tldr: without the tempering of philosophy with any other science, philosophy is, and will always be a series of theories, which allows only living in the mind. Other sciences are needed in order to help make the most ethical decisions while moving through the physical universe

The fact there are arguments for and against a particular topic proves nothing except that philosophy is an incomplete source of truth in itself. It only seeks to find meaning within the cold facts of the universe. Without tempering meaning with limits defined by other science, we'd go nowhere

It's unreasonable to believe that only one science explains the full complexity of an aspect of reality. You are stuck on only finding meaning, and not tempered with knowledge. That's an incomplete vision of the situation, since philosophy is by definition never finite, always in flux

Again - this is what I believe. The exercise of philosophy is all about covering all of the angles. It doesn't mean any of it is real. There is no science which is complete onto itself, each science needs to be tempered from knowledge and meaning

Software is where you're able to say categorically what any particular thing does lol A theory of consciousness is built on whether certain criteria are within certain levels. Computer science can indeed confirm if one or the other thing are true with AI, and that's why they're essential
