Legion is when War Mode was developed. I probably should have said BfA but I associate War Mode with Legion because my friend group had a guy who played on Proudmore with a bunch of devs and we got an early preview of it then.

T-pose falling nelf is a classic feature. Nelf was the only race with a two stage falling animation originally. WoD broke this with the model update, and early Legion restored it.

Begging Blizzard to review the fem night elf animations in Forever before this goes live. Currently these are just the animations in Retail. - Arm and leg motions lack the circular rhythm - Idle has less pronounced contrapposto - Weapon placement and animation is wrong/missing

The bounce got tweaked a few months into WoD, IIRC. Then further refined in a small patch early in Legion, which also restored their falling animation and adjusted the weapons positioning, anchoring them to the skeleton so they moved correctly when walking. Shadowlands broke the weapons again.

The way Zul'jan is animated in the 12.0.7 cinematic looks so much better than the default troll pose. He's still hunched, but not overly so. This would make a great customization option like the straight backs for orcs.
