And it's an undead skin tone that isn't using the red eyes, so they can use them separately (another thing retail should take note of, though for playable characters instead of NPCs in that case).

ToS and EULA’s need to apply to ALL players regardless of whether they bring in a bunch of revenue or not. Ignoring the issue is not effective PR.

Is anyone else experiencing a glitch in Forsaken Kingdom where its impossible to kill the phoenix boss in the Arcane Sanctuary quest? He just despawns at zero health and leaves the characters trapped in the sealed off boss arena, forcing a save reload. But it keeps happening every time I kill him.

Update: I've seen some suggest this was caused by the Cata zone updates, but I just checked on WoW Classic, and the ground clutter density there is still much greater when put on the same settings as Forever. @worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com @support.blizzard.com I'm not sure if this is intended.

There's also a tauren priest in the skyborne area in Mulgore. Come to think of it, since Dalaran is the Alliance skyborne area, both the dwarf mage and tauren priest are at the skyborne arrival areas. I wonder if that means something. A hint?

So SUPER exciting #Tuskarr news, friend of mine just found archives of all the RPG sourcebooks and there's a whole heaping of Tuskarr culture and lore, and enough to make them a playable race in the RPG! Due to the rarity of this resource I'm uploading it publicly, I'll comment on it later on.

Given that 3 out of every 10 children born *today* are blue this is accurate to the current status of things but I think lore-wise the number of non-blue elves would likely be even higher (depending entirely on their lifespan) (also I know I'm missing at LEAST one rare NPC)

I got curious how many Skyborne were blue vs not blue (esp considering the lore book that says 3/10 children born today are blue) so I went around cataloguing only named NPCs and it came out to 44 blue + 86 not blue, so blue shen'dorei make up roughly 33-34% of the population
Page 4 of "The Sky-Touched Mystery":

"Today, three in ten children born on the Skyborne Isles have the striking complexion of the Sky-Touched. Do I wish Blizzard would take a firm moral stance and ban Asmongold for all the bullshit he incites? Yeah, but we all know that won't happen because of all the money he clearly makes them lol So I hope in its stead, they figure out a way to let people choose phases easier.

I'll be choosing Roleplay because it fits my vibes and it's a place away from huge amounts of players... but what if a big streamer decides to go there? Unlike Retail or Classic, there's no choice to reroll or even pay to transfer servers, just hope you avoid their phase.

I think the whole Asmongold mess exposes an unfortunate downside of the 'Realmless' server system: it is significantly harder to choose your experience. When Classic launched, it was incredibly easy to choose a server out of dozens with no streamers, but now? Only 3 options.

Silent Hill: Townfall is so good. It's more of an escape room type game (like Myst) than a survival horror (though there are segments of more typical survival horror stuff). Speaking of that, make sure to use stealth instead of fighting enemies, the amount of enemies you kill effects the ending.

Blizzard genuinely needs to drop this sunken cost fallacy they have with Asmongold and actually ban him and his followers from the game. They've repeatedly shown that they are making WoW a more unsafe place for women, minorities, and the dev team themselves.

Mikhail has gotten hold of several of the letters sent out to the press by Clare Locke LLP, on behalf of Kotick, and has spent the last two years trying to understand the effect they've now had. Are these letters being sent out for good reason, or are they exploiting a fearful games media?

To exert this pressure, Kotick has employed Clare Locke LLP, a prominent defamation law firm which describes its own biggest victories as being "the flawed stories that never get published and the scandals you never read about in the news".

Specifically, Kotick has pressured reporters to alter the way in which they refer to the now-settled 2021 California lawsuit against Activision Blizzard, as well as an investigative report published by the Wall Street Journal, which his lawyers have repeatedly described as having been "debunked".
An article about Bobby Kotick, later updated to clarify that the California settlement "also cleared Kotick of any wrongdoing".An Observer editor's note which describes the Wall Street Journal's reporting as having been "debunked".

A skyborne using a blood elf model, or a blood elf using Skyborne on-click quotes?

Found a VERY cool lore book (crystal) that talks about why some of the Shen'dorei are blue and the significance of it
The title page of The Sky-Touched MysteryPage 2:

"Much of the flora and fauna of the Skyborne Isles has been shaped by the elemental forces that reign here in the realm of Skywall. Many creatures once bound to the earth now bear avian traits such as beaks, talons, and feathers. Others have gained the power of flight, though such transformations remain less common than other outward changes. Among the shen'dorei, the elemental plane's influence upon the body has been gradual and subtle. Yet in recent generations its effects have grown increasingly dramatic. Consider, for instance, the phenomenon now commonly called the 'Sky-Touched Blessing.'"Page 3:

"It's well documented since our ascent to Skywall that our people have adopted more lithe, slender forms, but this occurred over the course of many millennia. In contrast, the first recorded case of the Sky-Touched blessing -- which causes shen'dorei children to be born with vivid cerulean skin -- was noted fewer than five generations ago. Within a single generation of its first appearance, one child in twenty born among the Skyborne bore this curious alteration. Two generations later, that rate had doubled."Page 4:

"Today, three in ten children born on the Skyborne Isles have the striking complexion of the Sky-Touched. In recent centuries, the acceleration of our physical alterations has increased, and many scholars believe that the last vestiges of our kaldorei heritage may vanish entirely within two to three more generations. The cause of this transformation may never be fully understood. Yet it is plain that, in making our lives within the elemental plane, we as a people are being changed by it in turn. Skywall is a realm of wonders, but this serves as a sober reminder that we still know perilously little of what such a place may work upon those not born to it."
