Me as generally a fan of tsundere characters in media, haha oh no (But I wouldn’t touch any of this with a ten foot pole)

070

“One of the most tragic characters of modern media” if you told me to guess which character this was I wouldn’t guess Malfoy after listing a million characters, this was buckwild

I had one of the choose your own adventure titles and you could definitely end up dead in those

Every so often I think about specific plot lines in Animorphs (mostly Tobias tbh) and damn

How do you know it’s settled with the victim? For victims of sexual assault it is going to be a lifelong thing. Gellar didn’t even apologize to her in his statement.

Having seen Resident Evil, it would have ended very differently if the master of unlocking had been on the case, iykyk

Allyson 👾 @serenyty.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Just saw Resident Evil and had a great time! Zach Creggar is three for three in making experiences that are essential theatrical viewing, seeing his movies with a crowd were fun! I also liked how a lot of it FELT like the games without being outward references.

000

They Might Be Giants is such a fun band because the first time I saw them I went with zero expectations but seeing them live made me a much bigger fan because of just how FUN their shows are. Just good music and good vibes.

I am so tempted to try and go back to when I got gallbladder removal surgery and see what “nearly $100” got me. Maybe the crackers and water they gave me after I woke up?

This is the funniest thing I've seen today, possibly ever

A tweet by SarahStarberry that says "oh god read the vertical axis" on top of a chart measuring AI models' release dates and model numbers rather than any real capabilities

As an Endgame hater I feel very vindicated for checking out of the MCU after that

Men, I promise you, you don't need to, in any way, try and defend someone who literally admitted to sexual assault. Just don't do it. Don't even think about it.

Reposting for Fox Mulder, patron saint of spooky

I think saying this often conflates bad artist with bad person when they are very different things. Sometimes you can’t tell. Sometimes people who do bad things make good work.

When I was a kid my mom and I were in a hotel and she was presumably tired of toting a child around so we got room service for dinner. One thing we got was shrimp cocktail. It is still my idea of the height of luxury to eat shrimp cocktail.

051

I think they should at least give you a shrimp cocktail platter on the house for this quote, it’s only right

040

I just talked about the torment nexus with a coworker today and I hate how constantly relevant it is

021

I think it’s easy to forget just how recent societal change is. Feminism has made massive strides but we still need and deserve more. We need intersectional feminism to uplift women of color, queer women, and trans women especially, feminism doesn’t work unless we uplift all women

000

Every single election, even if it’s a local primary that likely won’t be a big thing, I listen to Sister Suffragette and think about what a recent thing women’s suffrage is. Women had to FIGHT and got the right to vote in the US in 1920. Not very long ago. youtu.be/K0SDECwO54E?...

I think about this every time I vote. Women’s rights have come so far! We have a long long way to go but women have pushed so much in the past!

021

One of my best friends’ sister was raped at college but didn’t report it because the culprit was an athlete and she didn’t think anyone would believe her. This shit goes so far beyond statistics and reports.

020

I’d imagine the vast majority of women have experienced some level of sexual harassment or assault, even if on a lower scale. I am a nerdy homebody and have experienced some terrifying sexual harassment.

Unfortunately sexual assault is endemic on college campuses. I’m lucky enough to have not experienced it but I remember people in my dorm describing their assaults at frat parties super casually, like oh this guy rubbed his dick on me, what are you gonna do 🤷‍♀️ and it pisses me off so much

Jonathan: hmm, maybe those people giving me crucifixes, doing the sign of the cross, and begging me not to go to Dracula’s castle were on to something

One of life’s pleasures, it’s so flavorful

020

This is legit, though, that is one of my favorite games of all time and it deserves more care from Bandai Namco, it’s such a good game that deserves a really high quality remaster

030

Listen, if they got an Eames chair in there I would manage to git gud at a Souls game. I would find a way.

I would feel a lot more motivated to defeat a huge boss if I got a fun outfit or a piece of furniture from it

Going to pick this up soon, when my Fire Emblem ferver has died down a tad. But this game seems super neat! As a textile art fan (though I just embroider) this is so cool

I tried to learn cooking from Blue Apron like 10 years ago and the biggest issue (other than cost) was that many of the meals easily took me over an hour to cook. The results were tasty but they’d be like “this is an easy weekday 20 minute meal!” And it would require SO much work

Tyrants view educated citizens as their greatest enemy. Slaveholders stopped the enslaved from learning to read. Nazis burned books. Dictators censor media. That’s why Trump is attacking education, science, museums, the media, and the arts – to prevent us from learning. It's Fascism 101.

Not long after Huang went on The Ezra Klein Show to go “I don’t think we should worry about AI,” like he doesn’t directly profit from the AI industry.

That feel when you help manufacture a problem so you can profit off its solution
