Gotta catch up on everyone's comics. When I was in the trenches I only had energy to focus on my own comic and I was barely keeping up with it but now I wanna dive back into webcomics as a reader again.

I haven't been tracking things as much lately cuz I've been very hands off about it all so I'm not sure. I still have 10.1k subs from before being promoted but I gotta check the detailed metrics still. There probably was a boost it just wasn't as big as what Tiktok advertising does for me.

Yeah exactly. IG has its issues but I find that people tend to share things they love more frequently than they share the things they hate so it's been one of the few places I could keep up with when things got rough.

Three panel comic of my koboldsona Torkku.
Text reads "me on my puter"
Torkku squinting at a monitor "oh? An adult content label? Show your secrets!" As it clicks with the mouse.
Middle panel Torkku just going "ooh!"
Last panel Torkku looks into camera "that is a penis!"

I'm very active on Instagram, particularly in my stories. I post a lot to Tiktok too. Everywhere else is kinda hit or miss with how active I am. I'm trynna be more active here on my NSFW account but I don't actively scroll Bluesky much cuz this site and Twitter tend to be more negative.

Being somewhat active here again after being medicated reminds me why I deserted this site and Twitter when my mental health took a dive. These sites are hell for my OCD and anxiety lmao.

I'm on Comicfury! They're the only site I'm on uncensored besides Globalcomix that's very easy for people to find and read uncensored pages. Unfortunately it seems like they're constantly at risk of not having enough funds to continue which is why I spread myself out so much.

010

serakatto💫read Second Contact @serakatto.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I'm mostly just still there at this point cuz every other platform that allows any level of adult content keeps getting shut down or is at risk of their policies suddenly changing any day. So I try to spread myself out as much as possible.

If you'd like to see how I organize and post my comic to IG, go look up @/secondcontact_ . If you make your comic in the scroll format, look at @/faroff_comic on IG. They took my advice about hosting their comic on Instagram with reels promo and have built a sizable readerbase there.

020

serakatto💫read Second Contact @serakatto.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

However, it only has the potential to perform high if you're also posting reels there. It funnels potential readers directly to your comic. I cut my pages in half for them to be legible there and make a seperate account just for hosting my comic.

serakatto💫read Second Contact @serakatto.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Btw for anyone who is trying to find another platform to post your comic on after Tapas' demise, my best recommendation aside from Webtoon is surprisingly Instagram. I know that Meta is garbage but it's my highest performing hosting platform out of the 8 I post my comic to (minus Patreon)

So there is a fake Comic Fury app in the google play store (see pictured). Don't download this, it's not real. The real Comic Fury site is not owned by the developer and there are no microtransactions. Please help Kyo, the real creator and owner of Comic Fury, by reporting its ass.
