being able to see so much art lovingly made by hand, endlessly, daily, has got to be one of the biggest boons of the digital age and one we take for granted. think of all the accumulated labor, love, hardship, etc. we are treated to in the form of illustration, writing, craft. for free, always.

NOOO SHADOW

An image of a man crushing a shadow the hedgehog squishmallow against a white wall out of jealousy. His partner’s love for shadow supersedes her love for him. What he doesn’t know is that deep down, he also loves shadow and wishes to kiss him in this moment but is blinded by rage. There is a books case in the background with a candle warmer and a vintage mini clock.

Go make the art you’ve always wanted to make. Write the stories you’ve been dreaming of. Sing your heart out. Pick up an instrument & play. Do the things you’ve been holding back on because you’re worried about what others might think. Just do it. Do it now. Life is short. Life is precious. Please.

These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.
