My teenage holy trinity of video games was: Deus Ex, Planescape Torment and Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. I've revisited all of these to see what appealed to me then and how I relate to it now with 20 years of life. tldr; DX plays great but is silly. PST is held back by power fantasy. MW rules

I think we're also overly obsessed with making it so simple "anyone can do it." I believe "anyone can do it" but I don't believe "anyone can do it without effort, curiosity, attention and dedication to learning" like any other art form.

Yet another rpg that doesnt get how percents work... Its a RQ/BRP game that forgoes the resitance table but doesnt alter the %% to keep the outcomes consistent. By making casting a resisted spell into an activation and defense roll. Your "average" character goes from 50% down to 7%.
