i started reading “if anyone builds it, everyone dies” this week and the first thing i noticed was that he describes how llms are created in almost supernatural terms that makes it sound like they’re alive and their abilities are a scientific mystery like the human brain, which is already a problem.

why do llms all have the same web design aesthetic? you can tell a site that was made with a.i. as easily as you can tell a flier/poster was. they all use the same conventions, with a retrofuturistic feel and terminal-style fixed-width fonts.
