Work to upgrade the list and packaging for the Polish Jewish Refugee Fund is unearthing some interesting qualifications. Benin Rozentraub (Ben Ross), a brewer born in Kalisz, had studied at the "Institute of Fermentation", Brussels. He was granted naturalization in 1949 @parkesinstitute.bsky.social

By the end of August 1944, around one third of the 5.7m forced labourers in the Greater Reich were women. The majority of female forced labourers came from Eastern Europe. This series of photos was taken in Kaunitz following an evacuation march when the camp was liberated by American troops.
