AIs are not capable of writing good books because they do not have the ability to evaluate what constitutes "good" or "bad" or assign those values in a literary context.

"questioner" works, but in that specific circumstance – and assuming you're not constrained by a word limit – I'd go for the slightly less aggressive "the person raising the question" or "the person whose question it is".

Let us all take a moment to admire the geopolitical insight that led him to conclude that the ideal solution to the questions of Irish identity that have bedevilled the island and fuelled conflict for more than a century was "simply call Northern Ireland something other than Ireland."

But what happened next? Did he take the opportunity to ruefully reflect on the mistake he'd made and the way it coloured his entire story? Did he bollocks.

All this time, I thought Trump's drive to call things America – "Lake America," "Gulf of America" – was an expression of American imperial or colonial intent, but no, it's just that some Americans are impossibly baffled at the concept of *other places having their own names and histories.*

As American democracy backslides, fundamental principles of constitutional government give way. Here, we see a dictatorial administration freezing out congressional oversight *of the military*, which represents a major step in an autocratic revolution of US-style civilian-military relations.

It does not follow that support for a country engaged in a war equates to support for the war itself. (See, for example, US behaviour in 1939–41). But this simple point seems to be rather beyond your abilities of comprehension.
