So... I had quite a bad injury just over a week ago and had a concussion. Since then my ability to visualise has vanished. I have complete aphantasia and it's making me so so miserable. Does anyone have any tips for treating acquired aphantasia?

To find his way home, he had to follow the fish.

They swam in huge bowls hanging from the central beams of walkways that covered the city streets. Their wide, luminous tails guiding the way; twisting and turning. A mix of red, white, green, and purple flashes of light.

And, dashing under them, the Great Wizard Levytus turned left towards home at the spotted green fish. The group was getting closer. Their presence indicated by the air getting dryer as they pulled all of the moisture from the atmosphere. Every part of skin that was exposed, mainly his precious face, felt as if it was being brushed by sandpaper. His lungs stung like he was breathing in coarse grit.

Chicory felt hot all over and he didn’t understand why. Silas’s smile bloomed in his amber eyes as well as he looked at Chicory gently. So gently. It made Chicory’s chest start to tighten, as though his heart was aching. It reminded him of how he felt when he pretended that the dashing man in his picture was kissing the back of his hand. A smile threatened to grow on his face as he looked away. No one had ever looked at him like that or said such nice things…

So, I just noticed a few little black tufts sticking out of a tiny pocket that I never use and pulled this feather out of it. I picked up two feathers earlier today but they're in my bag and perfect. I didn't pick this one up. I don't know where it came from 🤔

There was a witch hiding in the trees of Hatwick Wood. They were a steward of the wood, caring for the alders, maples, and cedar within, watching over the home of the beasts and birds. The witch ensured that villagers never took more than they gave, that they were never ravenous in their consumption of the gifts they were given. This was the witch’s sacred duty, and their magic had flown wild and free as they upheld their oath.
The people who survived on the generosity of Hatwick Wood—every denizen from Farbreak at the south edge to Northpost on the opposite side—respected the witch. Although they had never seen the steward of the wood, stories about the witch had been passed down through the families. Everyone knew the witch was the forest caretaker, and if anything ever went wrong, they needed to be found to mend it. No one knew this better than the Ashtons.
Milo Ashton came from a long line of people who made their living in the forest. His grandfather, and his grandfather’s grandfather, and every generation before that were hunters. It wasn’t work that would make them rich, or elevate them above common folk, but it was good, honest work that would always be needed. The Ashtons had always hunted in Hatwick Wood, respected it, and in turn, the wood gave them a bounty.
That all changed when Hatwick Wood was cursed.

It's been just over a week since I got my MC prescription and I can honestly say it has saved my life. I've done so many chores, left the house without having to worry about being in agony, slept upstairs and been able to cuddle (and other things) with my partner... I have a love for life again.
