Yes, we women ecophilosophers face huge citation gaps and intellectual erasure, particularly across media platforms such as this one.

I feel similarly, although the framing of "climate" as a "separate system to all others" on planet Earth is also a problem.

Put on hold until after my viva, none-the-less relevant. WHY I chose to risk everything to complete a PhD in my 50s: to validate my ecophilosophical work in the face of successive erasure, co-opting, and dismissal, mostly from men in publishing. When women participate, it feels like a knife.

Fluminism as literature - "bone-lignin-chitin" ash flows the atmosphere for the umpteenth time in our 4.5 billion years. But this time its "andro" igniting the flame, not Chicxulub or the Deccan Traps. Set the kindling, light the match.

"The blaze across the horizon created its own weather system, and all the screams fell silent. Airborne embers were bone-lignin-chitin, and the ash crossed oceans. This was never simply a flame gone feral; this was andro-pyroclysm.” seasonalight.com/2026/#wildfire #pyroclysm

HWP is big in the Right Wing Media. All connected. Spencerist eugenics thrives as a kernal and, I'm sorry, but these delusional loyal cabals are very good at targeting education to influence society as a whole. Turn them on their sad little heads.

"Hereditarianism" is their supposed value ethic. Utterly unscientific, though the false "selfish gene" trope NEVER helped. Dawkins and his book publishers have a lot to answer for. Hereditary White Psychopathy = imaginary belief that there is an inherited empathy-less right to power/wealth.

Meanwhile, the rest of higher education is just a political punchbag to those Oxbridge "winners." And the few trying to change things from the inside are accused of treachery (unless they publish best sellers, of course).

I was skeptical to begin with. But no matter all the elitest BS, collegiate pastoral care, lecturers, and Dept managers were political & competitive. UNCARING & INFLEXIBLE; STEEL intended to shape leaders (psychopathy)! My daughter is now elsewhere in education, after a year off to recover!

I admit my own bias - on a complete lack of CARE offered to my neurodiverse daughter during her first year at Cambridge after council funded 6th form. Senior lecturers/tutors promised me they'd look after her after the sudden death of her father during the application process. They did not.

And it is not simply about politics! The effect is across the "board", culturally, and without merit. Land, capital wealth, & (marginally) philanthropy are NOT sound ethical foundations for "education". An Oxbridge degree should not mean automatic open doors and instant social capital gains.

Alarm at NHS patient records being put under control of US private equity firm
Doctors and MPs urge more scrutiny of £300m deal for company behind system used by most GPs in England * UK politics live – latest updates * Business live – latest updates A US private equity firm will take control of NHS patient records in a deal experts say should “ring alarm bells” amid concerns sensitive health data is increasingly being handed to private companies. The investment firm TPG has bought Optum UK, the healthcare technology business behind the electronic patient record system used by most GP practices in England, in a deal worth about $400m (£300m). Don't know whether to hate or pity his ignorance. This man is the pinnacle of ecoilliteracy, core value about as far away from mine as possible. He cannot change, he & his like are lost causes. But we can ensure ecoliteracy is mainstream, inc politics, without his despotic executive dis'orders.
