I don't have a huge Steam Sale budget given all the new games atm, but this is about €42 and I do want to stay under €50, so this is acceptable for me!

Let's gooooooooo, my Archer finally has his buddy! This has taken me ages because I've only had time to do dailies lately but I didn't lose the 50/50 after losing...three in a row, I think? Anyway, it's all good now, and hopefully a lucky sign for month ahead.

It was Spawn, 100%. The MMPR White Ranger was a close second, and probably the reason I have so many white/black/gold skins in my Fortnite locker.

My therapist and most of my family call streaming my "job", and I'm very bad at my job tbh. To the point that it often impacts my mood how bad at it I am! But I like to think I will be honest with people. As I told my friend in college, I will stab you in the front! lmao

010

Gunslinger SpawnShards @seanshards.zone · 29/09/2026

Also, I had someone I thought was on my side say that "people who have 'not streaming for money' on their profile are lying" and "they're streaming more for Subtember to try and get money" and LET THE RECORD SHOW, both of those are bullshit: (September, August, July) (feeling petty tonight, lol)

Gunslinger SpawnShards @seanshards.zone · 29/09/2026

Also changed my name a bit early...for Halloween, lol. I think the LMAOman jokes are a bit played out so time for the other ultra cool character of the late 2010-early 2020s, Gunslinger Spawn! (he's my boi but he is a little bit tryhard)

010

Gunslinger SpawnShards @seanshards.zone · 29/09/2026

Streaming took a backseat in September. Adjusting to new glasses, back in the gym regularly, up at the same time (almost) every day including weekends (!), a lot of health focus right now. October will hopefully be fun even without being a Halloween guy. An ambitious schedule, I'll do my best!

I really like how the Catalyst skin looks with the Ironmouse wrap. Has ended up being one of my fav skins in awhile especially in Fox Clan colours! Also I got that new Minecraft cape from a friend's stream. Eventually I will play actual Minecraft! (My skin is Chandra from MTG)

Evenin'. Did not stream because I had the shakes after the gym. This was only partly because I spent three quid on a "protein cookie" from the deli that I'm pretty sure was robbed from the nearby Subway. I should be back tomorrow! Got some extra funds so thinking about buying the new Castlevania!

it’s come to my attention that my tumblr post has been crossposted to bluesky, so I’m posting it on my account here #AntiAI #GenAI

recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best.

It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence relies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't.

It is genuinely shocking how much easier it is to get into, say, Judge Dredd, who *should* be as inscrutable as the average Marvel character, but it's generally so easy with Essentials or Complete Case Files (albeit digital, or library for me) and then Compact Crimes starting next year.

Gunslinger SpawnShards @seanshards.zone · 28/09/2026

So this month's book is a Wolverine story because of the Insomniac game, last month was an X-Men '97 thing for Season 2, and so on. It's not ideal!

100

Gunslinger SpawnShards @seanshards.zone · 28/09/2026

Even as someone who gets a lot of their comics from the library now, I probably read less Marvel than many other publishers just because trying to get a run, in order, is so difficult. I do buy the Marvel Select trades but it does suffer from Marvel synergy needs.

100

Gunslinger SpawnShards @seanshards.zone · 28/09/2026

Marvel's, at least Marvel US, Panini in UK and EU are a bit better, trade printing policies are all over the place. The Premier Collection does not seem long for this world either as they are trying another digest format, which is such a Marvel take on the digest craze that it physically hurts me.

Star Trek Voyager: Seven's Reckoning Set in Season 4, so not long after Seven of Nine joined the Voyager crew (there's a long sequence at the start about Janeway's new haircut). A fairly bog standard caste system story with some nice art. 6/10

The Best of 2000 AD Volume 3 As fitting a Best Of, generally really good. Bookended with new and classic Dredd. The meat is Leviathan, a murder mystery on the Super-Titanic with a satanic twist, and Storming Heaven, a trippy superhero story in a warped Summer of Love that really grabbed me. 8/10

The Complete Full Tilt Boogie If you've missed Avatar TLA (I only watched it this year but I do miss it!), this is that but with a heaping helping of Saga and pulp sci-fi, while still being mostly kid-safe. This was f'n delightful and I'd be excited for a Book 4 were it to ever happen. 9/10

QUICKFIRE REVIEWS (of the comics what I did read when I was away) Superman Volume 3: The Dark Path This is what happens sometimes when you get into a superhero run. All tie-ins to TWO different events. The Absolute Power one was better, and tbh carried by Jamal Campbell drawing Zatanna. 6.5/10

LOVED the season finale of #StarTrekSNW and had to make a poster! ‘Tomorrow’s Enterprise’ shows why I have always thought of #Uhura as the beating heart of the Enterprise and Celia Rose Gooding embodies that heart so well! Till next season🖖! #StarTrek #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds

A split screen type design with future Uhura and a black hole on the left and past (our current?) Uhura on the right with a white hole going down the middle is the title Star Trek strange new worlds tomorrow's enterprise and at the end of that are two enterprises one going One Direction one going the other

I made the My 9 Games thing. The first three are my childhood faves. The rest are the ones that have probably defined my streaming "career" the most. And then there's World of Warcraft, with which I have a complex history. There's good and a lot of bad there for sure.
