I have mixed feelings about vibe coded card game websites. A ton have popped up, made mostly by real enthusiasts, and often showcasing games that otherwise would have no digital version. It’s hard to see that as an unalloyed evil, but I’m still not super keen to engage with them or their authors.

The first day of preorders was pretty good! Suppose sold 58, Welcome Demons 48, plus a few add-ons, which is always nice. Numbers are pointing toward a 250 copy order, but I haven't reached out to retailers yet, so that may change. Also, it's only been one day, so who knows.

In no order for no reason, some trad card games I love: Phat: Phat is a 2v2 game from the UK. It’s traditionally played using a cribbage board that goes to 180. You peg points both during card play (the phat), and a few (the muck) after the hand. Most of the points are in the middle of the ranks.
