“It would be easy for me to say that all of this has come about in one administration but that’s simply not the case. We are asking more while providing less for so long and this is our reckoning.” We have to do better for our uniformed men and women and for the national strategy.

Rewatched Generation: Kill. You would think we would have learned hard lessons but spoiler alert, we have not.

The PLA could not muster enough fires to contend with a 2nd line US force of HIMARS and ATACMS. The ADF M1s swept away the remnants. ADF 155mm howitzers, and a PLA HQ-16B were the two respective MVPs of this fight. LC is always an incredible play and reminder that future war is just as brutal.

The PLA is gearing up their 2nd wave attack against a fortified position near Port Moresby. Will it hold for the ADF/US to potentially counterattack with M1A1’s, or will the Allies finally crumble? @sebastianbae.bsky.social ‘Southern Sentinels’ LC: Australia

Or….I guess they could trade him for PG 13 and to a rival 🤢 WTF

Same. I’m highly skeptical of getting back good value at this point. He’s a pro and we just need to stop dangling him along. Pick up the extension and we ball. 🍀

Watching #Gettysburg on the dates of the movie/battle. We love watching this movie during July 4 holiday and decided to watch day by day for the first time. Sam Elliot as Gen Buford is so good

France’s shots on goal today have been way more technical and artistic than any of the US’ actual scored goals #WorldCup

Hunt for Blackbeard is such a fun game. The cat and mouse and guessing elements along with a little fog make this a gem. High replay ability as well. Great job to @volko.bsky.social and the @fortcircle.bsky.social team.

Just a reminder, as we look back at the #BattleofMidway, that Adm. Raymond Spruance deserves that 5th star and is one of this country’s greatest naval tacticians.

Cs really missed Kornet this playoff run. Dude brings it off the bench.

I love LC ADF and the challenges each mission presents so far. The Type 055 Renhai’s are no joke and have to be dealt with from the jump. My buddy is a flight instructor here at NAS Pcola so we are going to attempt the Campaign next!

Tumultuous seas, ineffective air cover, and poor cooperation between AUS and US forces spelled doom as PLAN forces showered ADF/US bases around Port Darwin with long range/ballistic/bomber strikes in @sebastianbae.bsky.social LC: Australia.

Love delivery days like today. The LC series is a favorite with my son and I and our wargaming friends. Incredible quality @sebastianbae.bsky.social and @thedietzfoundation.bsky.social 🎲

0 creativity and effort on the offensive side. If DWhite could finish his nap, that would be great.

100% correct. I like the Cs chances of making a sustained # of 3s over a 7 games series over any of those clubs.

I’m really enjoying @gmtgames.bsky.social Vietnam 1965-1975. The Battle of Dak To attrited US forces but not by enough. Remaining FWA mopped up VC battalions and the Allies pulled off the W for the Masher Op.

As an F1 fan as well (Ferrari 🏎️) I enjoyed the article…adaptation in tech heavy orgs is more important than ever particularly in neer peer competition. Like at Melbourne, those first iterations may not see success but adapting and staying with it can lead to new emergences and positive gains.

Nam is a great game and forces players to make quick decisions in the game of a PAVN forces that can come at them from anywhere.

010

Eric Brammer @scuttlethefleet.bsky.social · 08/03/2026

We continue our journey into tabletop wargaming with Nam. The PAVN almost collapsed into the US and ARVN forces but quick work by a Cobra and Loach (Pink team), Marine Recon and ARVN infantry saved the day.

Instead of having a serious conversation about building warships for a future Navy we have this drivel. This needs to be shelved and then deleted from existence the moment a D-led Congress has the chance. Embarrassing.
