People love to casually throw around terms like "worst Christmas Carol," because they presumably haven't seen the one where Scrooge keeps forgetting the word "humbug," interacts only with nightmare puppets, and sings a rip-off of "Money" by Pink Floyd.

I'm glad a professional agrees. The thing that gets me is he did it as a comedy album in the 60s, with Jack Benny as Scrooge. now THAT is a good choice of Scrooge. But why WC Fields in the HBO special?!

Text: Hi there,

More and more people find shows by asking ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude or Gemini — "what should I listen to about X?" — and the answer comes from what those assistants can read on the open web. Not from your feed.

If "Scrooge: A Christmas Carol Podcast" has no page they can read, it isn’t in the answer. PodView fixes that:

Readable by the assistants — your episodes become real pages, structured so ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini can understand what your show is about and recommend it.
Found in search too — the site builds from your RSS feed with SEO built in, and updates with every episode.
And it captures what it brings — email list building, lead magnets and webhook automations (Zapier, Make, n8n) turn a new arrival into a subscriber you own.
Being recommended is the new being discovered.
