As Rachel gets closer, the rainfall projections from the National Weather Service are rising. San Diego could get 1.5 inches of rain on Sunday alone. Palomar Mountain could get 2.5 inches. Then more is likely Monday and Tuesday from a separate storm from the north. #sandiegoweather #CAwx

My husband and I found this dog wandering down the street in the Parkrose neighborhood in Portland. No license. Couldn't find an owner, so we took him to the animal shelter. He's very friendly and somewhat trained. Reposts appreciated if you're in the area. He has to have had an owner.

Actually, on my 50th birthday, I was on duty. My entire crew was waiting (I was always the early bird) to show me to my new senior parking spot and to present me with a walker to help me get in the fire station safely. 😁

Honestly, I think I got about 20,000 miles out of that bottom bracket. Nothing lasts forever. That is actually one of the easier maintenance jobs for a road bike. I have all the tools! 😁
