My lower back was feeling kind of tight yesterday. Then, I bent over to pick up a towel, and my back spasmed. Now, I can barely bend at all because everything is so tight. Can't go to the gym to burn off stress from work, so I guess I'll just burn, burn brighter, then implode like a dying star.

Just finished the Blue Lion route in Three Houses. Generally enjoying Three Houses. Pacing and narrative issues, but I'm hoping the latter gets resolved through the other routes. Wish they'd do something more than just rout conditions, though. I miss defend levels. Black Eagles on hard next.

Just finished watching RE: Welcome to Raccoon City. It's a fun, stupid mess that tries to accomplish way too much in the span of a single film. Bastardized characters and plots, too. Just...whew. And yet, still better than all the ones that came before it. Seeing the new RE next weekend.

It wouldn't be prudent to be explicit; however, there are some AI-related shifts occurring at my workplace. Suffice it to say that the amount of despair, demoralization, and ennui I'm experiencing from that is some kind of new hell that I didn't know existed until today. F*** AI and its supporters.

Just finished Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo. Fantastic game. I was hooked from the moment I started. Its yo-yo-based gameplay is clever and delightful--and surprisingly challenging. Beautiful artwork, catchy soundtrack, bit of a rebuke of the excesses of capitalism... Check it out if you haven't.

One of many useful guides you'll find in this delightful book. I learned so much about the Famicom and its games just by editing this book. For instance, I learned how to defeat enemies in Ufouria (you have to hold down when you jump on them, for some reason). Did I mention that I edited it? 😎
