My partner is a MASSIVE Twin Peaks fan but also David Lynch in general so we ended up going to Washington for The Real Twin Peaks festival only weeks after he passed. The shrine people made at the RR Diner was beautiful.

Moving always feels the most weird when I have to empty my bookshelves and pack everything into totes and boxes. I need to buy a bigger bookcase once I get moved to my new place.

I walked into my kitchen and heard snorting from my cat Olivander (he has sinus issues) but I spun in circles trying to find him and couldn't. Then I looked up. This buttmunch is 15 pounds and managed to follow my much smaller cat's lead in jumping onto the counter, then fridge, then cabinet.

I've had an idea to make this for months but I finally got the rush of a deadline (a pride event I've got a booth at) so I finally got the stuff and sat down to make it. It was way harder than I expected and took a lot longer (3 hours) but I did it! Now to get more crystals and do it again, better.

I may be Down With The Sickness (covid) but I have good company. Also luckily I don't really feel too terrible besides a runny nose, some congestion, and an occasional cough. Headache and fever have mostly passed now. I am however very, very tired.

I finally made a big decision today! Haven't been able to pick it up from the pharmacy yet though because my insurance needs pre-authorization 🙄 But maybe tomorrow. I also bought myself a cool cat dice shirt as a celebration lol. It's a big step and I'm very nervous but also tired of putting it off!

No worries, just cooking over here. I was outside for like 20 minutes standing on my porch in the shade and I ended up with a headache from the heat. My partner got sick from heat exhaustion yesterday after only a few minutes outside because of their psych meds. This is brutal.

This is almost exactly what my current place is. The ground was all covered in mulch last year and all the green you see are intentionally planted things (with a few weeds mixed in as well). The owner plans to eventually seed the yard with clover seeds. Also I have flowers and food plants to put in!

Finally getting to see Atreyu live after nearly 21 years of loving them was AMAZING. During one of the songs Brandon got into the crowd, moshed for a bit, and then walked right past me and my partner to get onstage so I high-fived him lol. I'm gonna have no voice tomorrow for sure.

Guess who isn't happy with me at all for taking him back to the emergency vet because he still isn't pottying at all and also refused to eat dinner. Still no signs of a urinary blockage on the ultrasound so an x-ray is next to check for bowel issues or literally anything else.

My kitty baby Edgar is at the vet today getting his last 2 broken off teeth pulled and they're his fang teeth (both on the top) so it's a bit more involved of a surgery since they have long roots and both teeth are just nubs. I'm gonna be a nervous wreck until he's home again.

My little shorty short girl Shesha loves to try and run out the door when I open it, so to give her the freedom to explore the outdoors safely I bought a harness and leash. This is her first time using it and she didn't seem to mind it too much! She was fascinated by the rain water collector lol.

I didn't get the time to know my mom as a person outside of just being "my mom" but one thing I did know is that she was an incredible artist. Horses and unicorns were her favorite things to draw. These are from her teens and they won awards at a local fair in her hometown.

I have been developing my first ever stye right on the underside of my right eyelid for most of a week now. I look like someone punched me and it swelled up but didn't bruise, basically. I finally went to an urgent care and was prescribed an ointment today, but the pharmacy was already closed.

A person who advertised in a local queer Facebook group about window painting came by back in December and painted them a Christmas theme with cats, so I contacted her again recently about doing a spring/Easter theme and she did it today. I love it lol.

It's really funny seeing people referring to a darker green color as "bisexual green" because you wouldn't guess what color scheme I had already planned for my bedroom since the walls are painted green. (I don't like the shade of green the walls are but alas, I am renting).
