I figured out how to write an Excel formula to filter a table based on a vlookup result. I had the building blocks of it already (the data table and vlookup table) but had no idea how to do the filter formula. After 2 YouTube tutorials, multiple Google searches, and frustration, I figured it out!!

It took me about a half hour to re-pot a handful of peppers, herbs, and tomatoes that I had been avoiding messing with since the spring. I probably killed half of them because I took so long to re-pot them. I got dirt everywhere, but it was easier than I thought. I've learned nothing from this.

I had a really great weekend being a vendor at the local Tower Grove Pride event in STL and my partner sat with me at the table the whole time and we got to just hang out and talk and see sooo many queer people and feel like we really fit in somewhere. Plus I made a lot of sales surprisingly!

Moving always feels the most weird when I have to empty my bookshelves and pack everything into totes and boxes. I need to buy a bigger bookcase once I get moved to my new place.

Lesson learned tonight: don't go to the WashU ER in St Louis unless you're literally dying. And even if you're literally dying probably still don't go there. I waited for 6.5 hours and ended up leaving having still not been seen besides triage, blood tests, and an X-ray.

I swear I think I'm developing dementia. I can't remember anything at all anymore. For example, a friend gave me $5 this morning. I put it in my pocket, but by the time I left my house, went to breakfast, and got back to my partner's place, it had disappeared. Figured I dropped it, maybe at home.

I got unexpected news that my housing situation needed to change much sooner than I anticipated. There was a lot of stress involved, as I'm sure most could imagine. However, within a few days of getting that news, a new opportunity popped up that was cheaper, which I desperately needed.

I walked into my kitchen and heard snorting from my cat Olivander (he has sinus issues) but I spun in circles trying to find him and couldn't. Then I looked up. This buttmunch is 15 pounds and managed to follow my much smaller cat's lead in jumping onto the counter, then fridge, then cabinet.

I've had an idea to make this for months but I finally got the rush of a deadline (a pride event I've got a booth at) so I finally got the stuff and sat down to make it. It was way harder than I expected and took a lot longer (3 hours) but I did it! Now to get more crystals and do it again, better.

I may be Down With The Sickness (covid) but I have good company. Also luckily I don't really feel too terrible besides a runny nose, some congestion, and an occasional cough. Headache and fever have mostly passed now. I am however very, very tired.

Just was informed that unless anything changes by next spring I'll have to drop out of my grad program because I'll no longer be able to get student loans thanks to the fact that the BBB cuts off funding after 2 years for a grad program if it would take 2 years to complete at full time enrollment.

Turns out the universe has jokes. After my partner and I spent the entirety of last week watching their brother die we both ended up with covid. No one else in the family has symptoms so we don't know where it came from, and luckily nothing too bad so far, but we're having to miss the family dinner.

My partner's brother passed away today. He was 44 years old and had stage 4 metastatic colon cancer and was diagnosed very suddenly only 6 months ago. Please, if you have any signs of this disease, please get screened for it. Do it for Andrew.

⚠️Content warning⚠️ End of life discussions . . . . Spent the day with my partner's brother. He was transferred to a hospice facility. He was incoherent the few moments he was awake in the hospital room & very combative but once they transported him over and got him set up he was so much more relaxed.

I've been spending a lot more time with my partner during the week lately which would be great except it's because their brother is dying. His liver is failing and unless there's a miracle around the corner his oncologist is coming to speak with him Friday about stopping treatment.

I ate a different product from the same brand that gave me food poisoning a few weeks ago and guess what!! I have food poisoning again!!! The last time it was leftovers so I blamed it on that, but this time it was frozen and unopened! And brand new! I feel even worse this time around too! 😭😭😭

My partner's brother has stage 4 metastatic colon cancer, and is doing very not well. He's in the beginning stages of potential liver failure and has been hospitalized for around a week now. It was made clear today by the oncologist that if this new round of chemo does not help, things are not good.
