Well dang, it would appear my stuff was stolen from my vehicle while I have been 1500 miles away and unable to afford repairs. That laptop included a number of prototypes I had never backed up anywhere, including tons of VFX prototypes from when I worked on Manifold Golden.

played vanilla for years and have been trying a few full conversion mods and right now I'm deep in a Bob + Angels modpack, and while I love how in depth and varied everything is, I get so overwhelmed by the fluid mechanics and the biomaterial branch, it's insane

factorio mods are great because you see you have to do something that is simple in vanilla and go "okay how do I do that" and what was once a single item change now becomes a 20 stage process to get to it and then you close the game and not play factorio modded any more
