Last Sunday, we joined a pyjama party in Berlin organised by @back-on-track.eu and @staygroundednet.bsky.social. We celebrated climate-friendly night train travel and demanded an end to climate-damaging nightly air traffic. There were events in many other cities! pyjama-party.back-on-track.eu

Verfahren beendet! Prof. Niko Froitzheim hatte einen Strafbefehl über 6000€ erhalten, im Prozess wurde daraus die Übernahme von 200€ Reinigungskosten. Sein Vergehen: Niko hat gegen die Zerstörung unserer Lebensgrundlagen protestiert. Er wird auch weiter mit uns für eine lebenswerte Zukunft kämpfen.

Another day, another case dismissed! Today, Eliz from Scientist Rebellion was on trial in Berlin for a paper pasting action at the Deutsche Bank in 2024. We protested outside the court. While activists are prosecuted, the people and corporations responsible for the ongoing ecocide remain at large.

Am 4./5. Juli tagt die AfD in Erfurt. Als Wissenschaftler*innen sind wir direkt betroffen: Die AfD diskreditiert Forschung, will ganze Forschungsfelder abschaffen und Hochschulen unter Druck setzen. Bereits über 250 Wissenschaftlerinnen solidarisieren sich mit geplanten Gegenprotesten!
