Just got an email notification that Google Cloud is adding (default opted-in, of course 🙄) an "OpenTelemetry (OTel) ingestion API" - and I think that the choice of the word "ingestion" is revolting and also extremely descriptively accurate. AI is literally consuming us.

My doctor, the equipment supplier, and the manufacturer tell me to change my CPAP mask cushion every 2 weeks for safe and effective therapy. Insurance will give me *1* per 6 MONTHS. No one at any part of the process can do anything about it. Our health system is so broken and I feel so defeated.
