Comic Artist Pro Tip #56- If you've begun work on a script that the writer hasn't completed, try to draw your character(s) with some sort of bag or backpack, because you'll inevitably get a panel description from the writer that says "he pulls out some rope"( or a sandwich, a lock picking kit, etc).

So busy with deadlines I haven't had time to color much, so here's some mostly b/w stuff from my sketchbook I've been messing around with recently.

Various ink studies of people in black leather-type jackets a a way to experiment with ink brush techniques to render the highlights of the light on the dark material, and a watercolor sketch of a blond woman in a black and white "space-y" suit with capped sleeves.

Vader telling Luke he was his father wasn't the big shocking moment to most Gen X moviegoers in 1980 that most people today seem to think it was. Before TESB, we all suspected that. The BIG shock came 3 years later in ROTJ when it was confirmed. Until then, we all thought Vader was lying.
