I've really been trying hard to get into Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave and it's just not vibing with me. I absolutely love the combat, but it feels like the game is actively fighting against me being in combat. It has a very clear and defined progression path and feels funneled to that.

They discuss discs in here, and funny enough that's how Microsoft gets me back. I purely play physical because there's _enough_ for me to play while still collecting as a branch of the hobby. If MS keeps physical, I will go 100% back to Xbox and drop PS entirely, apart from dev needs.

I have been playing nothing but American Truck Simulator for the past few weeks and let me tell you, that is a perfect game. It doesn't do anything spectacularly well, but the way it lets me just shut off my brain and drive is _impeccable_.

Boy, season one of Forza Horizon 6 gave me hope they weren't forcing multiplayer then they make the first part of season 2 REQUIRED CO-OP. You know what's worse than having to do multiplayer I don't like? BEING STUCK WITH IDIOTS THAT DON'T KNOW HOW TO DRIVE AND DEPENDING ON THEM FOR STUFF.

Been playing Saros as my new backlog pull. Enjoying the combat a lot in so much as it's kind of pray and spray shooting in favor of paying attention to dodge/shield defense mechanics, so you kind of do damage without paying attention in order to favor staying alive. Surprising, but nice.

This DK challenge mode is pretty neat, but in isolation I don't see as much of a need for it to be preserved as some people. What I DO see is a path toward a really interesting new NES Remix though, and I suspect that's where they pulled this general idea from. Franchise Remix is neat.
