I just learned that Mamdani spent most of his October 7 speech criticizing Israel instead of honoring the fact that their civilians were attacked. That kind of focus is not acceptable. I know that he's benefited New York with many policies, but he should apologize for the speech.

If you're not careful with location permissions on your phone, you might just have the exact location, right down to the very building, embedded right in a photo you took with it. GPS metadata in JPEG files is really that precise.

Today I learned that if you create an ID.me account for tax stuff, the IRS will send you mail saying someone accessed your details. It's important to know the IRS doesn't contact people by email or phone. The most common way they'll do it is by USPS, which is also owned by the federal government.

It was surprising but refreshing to hear President Christofferson speak up against gambling during General Conference, and that it includes things like sports betting and prediction markets. I agree with him. But I also am not going to think badly of my friends who do gamble. I just won't myself.

I'm not donating to FurAffinity. I instead would like Weasyl to have more traffic. It doesn't have any ads at all. When I put mature content online, it is not lewd. I don't want to subject my viewers to lewd ads like FurAffinity does when viewing mature content.

Tonight I found out that the "mount volume" command from AppleScript, if it fails, will prompt you to click OK to acknowledge the error message, then the script will fail with an error. A human MUST be there to click OK. Scripts are often supposed to be able to be run without anybody there.

For a while, I haven't been able to be in diapers for very long because my butt would hurt from it. Still does a bit, but things are much better now. I think the gaming chair I was using last year was giving me trouble. It kept pushing my hips together. Sitting in diapers, at least now, is better.

I know they say "never forget", but I want to forget it. My dad was taking me to school when it happened live. It was such a scary time. I was bullied in high school for a bit due to the events because I am Muslim. They thought I was 'one of them', when I'm clearly not. I hate that I still remember.
