The only way to end a week is with my favorite guy. Mortiis. Imagine waking up and remembering you have to be Mortiis.

After 5+ amazing years, my role at Ninja Theory is at risk of redundancy and I'm therefore looking for new opportunities.

This week's new record that I unearthed from a dark crypt is The Tale of Vlad Țepeș: Part II by Days Ov Yore. Part I came out earlier this year and it totally whips. Very straight up Black Metal. One track samples a swordfight midway through. daysovyore.bandcamp.com/album/the-ta...

Breens is one of the very few voices I trust when it comes to understanding what makes a great character action title. Sounds like a total bore, sadly.

Played a bit of DD2DA. The game's out soon, and honestly? I still need to see more to get on board. I remain pretty sceptical about it. Some of DD2's best moments were all the systemic NPC interactions and interesting quests, not a straight loot train. www.respec.net/preview/183-...

I'm willing to bet about 10 people have sussed this. You may think you know Mr. Zork, but you do not. Zork is secretly a Zeonic Mobile Suit made for deployment on the assualt on Jaburo. The Zock has a jetpack, cannons, and Zork shares the same weird beak and loadout. It's the same thing!

Sayem Ahmed @sayemahmd.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Gaming writers: The Duskbloods character Zork is definitely a reference to an aquatic mecha from the classic 1979 Gundam series: The Zock. Free random news post for you. I love the Zock. What a guy.
