tested out shaders precision between desktop and mobile and desktop can "handle" fract() up to 2^19 but mobile can only do it up until 2^8 using fract(uv + pow( 2., floor(uv.x) ) * floor( uv ))

$comparison of precision limits between mobile and desktop shaders. the image shows two grids representing shader precision results, labeled "desktop" and "mobile" the desktop grid maintains precision up to 2^19, shown by well-aligned and sharp patterns, while the mobile grid loses precision around 2^8, resulting in visibly pixellated patterns the shader equation used is fract(uv + pow(2.,floor(uv.x)) * floor(uv)) the annotation highlights "alright..." for desktop and "BAD" for mobile with arrows pointing to the respective precision limits$
