"born this way" discourse sucks. no i do not think anyone is born with sexualities and genders. i think theyre almost entirely social relations. i also think that "choice" is not the right word for most people since it's not a conscious decision but you can definitely choose to be trans

this is explicit with the just/heroic death mechanic: how it works in the game doesnt matter at all. theres nothing that really determines a death in the game. it's about interpretation of newer stories. it's complex because it's not trying to be a fun game, but an exploration of (post)modern media

classpects exist, as a very complex mechanic, not for the reader to try to comprehend or to make sense as a game mechanic, but instead to define dynamic archetypes that talk about roles in stories. of course it's a bad thing to do in worldbuilding, but thats because those are storytelling mechanisms
