WELL THERES THE PROBLEM Maybe… Idk, there’s supposed to be an apple MFi coprocessor where these empty pads are. U3001 should be populated with this chip per the repair guide… I think I’ve hit a dead end here.

I segment my LANs like a good boy, and have an IOT LAN and a USER LAN. Users go in 192.168.10.x/24, IOT devices go in 192.168.50.x/24. Wi-Fi SSID drops it into the IOT lan, but it asks for an address thats on the USER LAN. WHY THE FUCK DOESNT IT JUST ASK FOR A NEW ADDRESS?!?!?!?????

I absolutely lothe these IOT gadgets. This Birdfi device wont get an IP from my network. It auths to wifi, establishes L2 adjacency and begins DHCP. Fun part? It insists on an address that doesn’t exist on my lan and bitches because my dhcp server tells it that address ain’t valid bud.

I ~found~ this laptop, and gave it the best name - especially if you're a fan of #TheExpanse. I had this old dell for awhile now, but finally sat down to make an #asciiart logo for fastfetch as my MOTD.

i was not satisfied with the tty visuals and now im starring down the barrel of some web rendered visuals. it auto boots, runs local web server and chromium instance loads up a small web page. scaffolded this together. I think I’m onto something here. I’ve become obsessed with this.
