Hey #DH Community! I’m helping out at Thrive. They have a food bank and I’m going there once a week to help with the Spanish speakers clients that needs support. The main problem is that sometimes there is no Spanish speaker volunteer to assist.

I won a fellowship at CNU to transform a Spanish class into a Spanish class that incorporates community engagement critical learning, and digital humanities. It’s one of the things I’m most excited about next academic year

It’s definitely a challenge to publish in different languages (I still have no idea how to translate the title of my book—which is its main conceptualization too!). But as long as one keeps doing it, it eventually comes more naturally. I’ve experienced it as finding my voice in each rather than two.
