Since I left Chile last week, there have been massive fires in Viña del Mar, a helicopter crash with ex-president Piñera on board and just yesterday, a metro train went off the rails on Línea 1 in Santiago. Is God sending me signs, I wonder.

We entered the Year 2024 watching 'Leave the World Behind' and yes, it really made me hold my breath. Btw, my partner likes 'Friends', so she found the last scene comforting, while for me, naturally, it was the most unsettling part of the movie...
