So Trump’s comms chief is a fake lawyer, which from a cleverer administration might be an ironic comment on what kind of staff the “Fake News” deserves. But Trump is not cleverly commenting on anything; he’s just a profoundly incompetent man threatened by competence. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/14/u...

The Biden administration didn’t take Musk’s Russia-assisting intervention seriously. Treated it as something that could be addressed with contract language. Big mistake. In 2024, the US awarded SpaceX additional contracts worth billions of dollars. The next govt should go the oppoaite direction.

This is a fantastic video. Louisa Gag would likely still be alive today if the truck that hit her in Boston had side guards. These pieces of metal are a great example of how there are many simple interventions that could prevent cyclist and pedestrian deaths, yet our leaders fail to implement them.

Weird that we have a SecDef obsessed with testosterone levels and body shape, in the middle of a war rapidly drawing in more of the region, and when the levels of U.S. armaments and defenses are shockingly low. We need a SecDef who thinks about armaments more and arm measurements less.

Not only no culture, but no *commons*. The dependency on the capitalist overlords will be complete, because you can’t ask for help or context from others when there is no common frame of reference. This has already happened in coding, the first space where they destroyed the commons we’d all built.

🤫 The Trump family's World Liberty Financial appears to have quietly weakened a governance promise on Oct. 1. Its FAQ used to say tokens held in WLF's treasury "will not be voted." Now, it says WLF "does not currently vote" them. docs.worldlibertyfinancial.com/resources/faq
#### Are there any limits on how many tokens I can vote?

Yes. In addition to the limitation of voting 5,000,000,000 tokens per token holder (i.e. 5% of the total supply and described in greater detail below), any tokens which are treasury tokens (i.e., owned by WLF), will not be voted.
Yes. World Liberty Financial wants governance spread out, so one holder can vote at most 5,000,000,000 $WLFI, which is 5% of total supply. That applies across all the wallets a person controls, and World Liberty Financial can adjust it to 5% of the $WLFI that can actually vote. Staked $WLFI and locked tokens count toward the same limit. World Liberty Financial does not currently vote $WLFI held in its treasury.
