This is maybe a weird hot take but: more game devs, especially for online games, need to be able to tell their players to fuck off and just play the game as the devs intended. Like, so many balance changes and adjustments to gameplay for supposed "quality of life" changes I keep seeing in games...

Been doing a lot of retro gaming recently, and man, there is nothing quite like reading a guide from GameFAQs from 2003 or so 😆 The longwinded rants out of nowhere, snide remarks to everything, ASCII art, unnecessary personal info... it's incredible! Just as full an experience as playing the game.
