A4 I teach in a Title 1 school. There are a lot of kids experiencing trauma. One student expressed through her writing/art her fears about her dad being released from prison. She was afraid that her mom would be beaten again. Tear jerker!!! #tlap

I started keeping a journal when I was 11. I've let kids read my journals (pretty much about cute boys LOL). That has made kids feel safe to share their own adventures. #tlap

I did it!!🎉👏🏽👍🏼 I took a challenge to write and publish a book in about a week. It took me a little longer but I wrote over 30,000 words. Book will be available in a little over a week 😊 It was definitely a learning process!!! …and no I didn’t use AI except for @officialgrammarly.bsky.social
