Why don't you have candidates on Periminant standby and have them elected/re-elected at each EDA AGM. Give the EDAs the mandate of electing and retaining the candidate and promoting that person. Scrambling at the last minute is just silly when it's expected. Publish the details of the ridings

The LNG corporations we subsidize are running off with billions. The BC NDP promised to fix our gas royalty system by capturing 50% of the industry’s profits, but after being lobbied 192 times in a year, we’re only going to see ~11%. Join the BC Greens. We work for you, not corporations.

Carney is fast-tracking a social media ban for youth, with the support of the BC NDP — but who actually stands to benefit? My answer on @vancolour.bsky.social l about how this ban is just a backdoor to more corporate surveillance and putting the burden on people, not big tech. #socialmediaban

The Victoria Cannabis Buyers Club, which sells affordable cannabis to mostly low income people with chronic illnesses, just went through an unjust police raid, where they seized over $100,000 in products. Because VCBC keeps their prices low, they cannot apply to be licensed. (1/4)

DRIPA is not a threat to certainty; it is our only path toward it. A suspension of Indigenous rights would torch nation relations, Horgan’s legacy, and block the real path forward - long overdue good-faith negotiations. Thanks for having me on, Mo @vancolour.bsky.social! #bcpoli

When doctors are taxed at the same rate as billionaires, you know the system is rigged for the ultra-wealthy. Ending this era of wealth inequality requires the political backbone to tax extreme wealth. That isn’t the BC NDP, and certainly isn’t the Conservatives. The BC Greens will tax the 1%.
Statistics Canada reports wealth and income gaps grew in 2025
Statistics Canada says the top 20 per cent of the wealth distribution accounted for 65.7 per cent of Canada's total net worth at the end of 2025, averaging $3.5 million per household.

This is what happens when we treat a necessity like a business. People get squeezed during an affordability crisis, workers get mistreated & infrastructure crumbles. It's time we go back to treating BC Ferries as a public utility. We can lower costs, increase service & build the transit we deserve.

The people of Iran pose no threat to the United States — this has always been an oil war at the behest of the 1%. Now, Trump is threatening genocide over it. Where is the leadership from Carney to denounce this illegal war? Where is the pressure from provincial leaders?

A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don't want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!

The real answer is that @velocanadabikes.bsky.social has the capability to deal with this, but chooses not to for whatever reason. Probably because the Trans Canada Trail Foundation gets in the way and conveniently blocks progress for a National Cycling Route Network.

At the next AGM, why not elect candidates to be on permanent standby? When an election is called, that is certainly NOT the time to be fielding candidates. And at the next AGM, they get re-elected for another year. Local EDAs should be voting for their own candidate.
