I haven't been as deep in the Takarazuka fandom for about 12 or 13 years (when a bunch of my favourite actresses retired) but it's so good to watch a new-ish musical and have the same feeling I had when I first discovered 'Zuka in 2008. I love discovering new (to me) top stars to enjoy!

Yeah, except there was no emotional fallout after the seance, and the show already used Louis going into the sun in s2 so they couldn't repeat it. And Merrick Mayfair wasn't just a random witch-for-hire in the book. 🙄

The book The Vampire Lestat is a gorgeous emotional philosophical Odyssey that is filled with memorable characters and intensely cinematic scenes that are haunting and beautiful and iconic, and has one of the most lovable central characters I have ever read about. It's a gift that it exists.
