While this is good overall, it's important to understand that it's not these companies' "realizing the ethical issues". We, the consumers, know the ethical issues, but companies don't give a hoot about ethics. Rather, what happened was that AI didn't live to the expectations they were fantasizing.

I'm a huge Epic, the Musical fan, but I've been seeing a bit of a war between Odyssey fans and Epic fans, and it made me think about what it means to adapt a story. I'm seeing a lot of Epic fans defending Epic Odysseus from Odyssey fans saying that the OG Odysseus absolutely cheated on Penelope.

Hey, if you're someone who watched the Les Mis movie and thought "huh, they sound kinda...bad", there's a fricken bombshell of a reason for that. If you're a singer, you may already know this, but it's bad. Hugh Jackman was terrible in this film, and he has ample musical theater experience!

If the first thing you think of when you hear about the alphabet mafia is "Oh, they only talk about sex", that says way more about you than it does about us. We don't constantly think about sex. You just find our sex lives way too interesting.
