As someone living in Pittsburgh (formerly Kraków, Chicago and Greenpoint) whose family is from Poland, Apteka is by far the most "authentic" Polish restaurant in the US. Polish food is fresh and seasonal, even with meat. It's not floating in butter and fat. That's a US twist, and Apteka ignores it.
