BEHOLD! The hand-drawn map of the Isle of Faltara, the central location of the Children of the Gods! Designed by Moreno Paissan and Angela Gubert (also known as Ink Compass Maps). They absolutely captured the wild vibe of this far north setting.

My Top 5 Reads of 2024 It was a good year. I didn't have as much time to read, and surprisingly didn't read as much fantasy. But read some brilliant books! Was planning to read RoW, but Shogun swept in for my one chonker of the year. Runner ups: Shadow of the Gods (Gwynne) and Demon (Rob Hayes)

Longest book I've written to date, and I expect it'll get a bit longer. Also the hardest book I've written. I'm tired, but pumped to shift to editing mode over the next several weeks. It's got dragons ;) Can't say much else just yet, but lots of news coming soon!

Typically, a good writing day for me is a little over 1k words. Yesterday, 4500 words. And 9k in the past three days. Looking like a record week for me, and fingers crossed, I'll finish Children of the Gods today! Wish me luck!

I know there's been a lot of talk about not buying books from Amazon, but also how that would hurt so many indie authors who rely on Amazon and KU. One thing you can do to counter that is request your favorite indie book at your local bookstore and library! Make noise about those books!

Been here a while, but just now active. So thought I'd introduce myself. I write epic fantasy books about mythic monsters and revolutions of magic. Here's some art from the Deluxe Edition of my first book, The Shadow Watch. This piece was completed by Sutthiwat Dechakamphu. My WIP has dragons!

Finished up my spooky season read a few days late, but it was a banger! One of my favorite King reads to date. It was a delightful blend of Dracula style vampires with some Hill House vibes mixed in. Classic King. Loved it!
