New research from the SAJHMED found that 85% of patients with HIV-associated Kaposi sarcoma presented with advanced disease, with a 1-year mortality rate of 38%. The findings highlight the urgent need for earlier diagnosis and improved retention in HIV care. #HIVMedicine #KaposiSarcoma #HIVCare
