Got to see & hold the most famous Roman coin in history, the Ides of March coin Brutus had struck after assassinating Julius Caesar. The numismatist said it was Caesar putting his own face on coinage that precipitated his assassination, so Brutus doing the same thing did not go over well.

But he doesn't say "hey wow, did y'all know about this white terrorism thing that happened after the Civil War?" His post is about comparing their "success" to other terrorist movements. How does that compare to Al Qaeda, the IRA, etc.? I don't know, even though I'm aware these things exist.

Before people learned music with 'do re mi', the sequence once began with 'ut' as the lowest note. The absolute lowest note recognised in medieval music was 'Γ ut', with the Greek letter gamma, and 'Γ ut' came to refer to the full range of possible notes. This is behind the phrase 'run the gamut'.
