That makes sense - I used to take 100mg prog daily when I was still on oral e and blockers, but stopped bc I lost my HRT access for a few months before switching to injections. am very much looking forward to getting back on for the mental effects!

That’s great question! My blood test was 5 days after my last injection - not sure where that puts me. I usually inject every 7-9 days or so.

Your whole life turns to sky and you buy
a single plastic bird to fill it.

A kingfisher, a missile, an anchor dropped,
a thing more defined by what
it does when it leaves the air,
how the bodies around it react
before physics re-establishes
its boundaries.

You opened it in pieces –
clear bags of body parts
in hands still hooked to machines
in hands that needed something other
than themselves to put
together. This was
obvious.

Once the body was done, the water
was sculpted into its splash,
once the first wing was finished
and the second had mostly
connected its tissue, you notice
that the colors have stopped
matching.

One little piece, missing from
the operating theater, and
enough to fill the gap, but
obviously, clumsily, and
in a way that, in the end,
won’t change how it works at all.
