I'm a pantser who writes in sequence and edits as I go. I don't set consistent word count goals. I'm terrible at following an outline. But it works for me. And I think the best advice I can give any other writer is to learn to trust your own process, because you're all you've got. #LGBTQWriteAThon

Cole's grandmother's house isn't exactly haunted, but it tugs at Cole's mind and he feels her spirit there. She died there a few years back and Cole inherited the house, which is a key plot point in this story. He feels connected with her when he's in the house. #QueerPrompts

One of the major things that Cole loves about Ezra is that Ezra is a straight shooter who doesn't bullshit. He can be a little blunt, but he says what he means and tells the truth. Meanwhile, Cole is all smoke and mirrors to conceal how much he's hurting. To Cole, Ezra is refreshing. #LitHodgepodge

Sort of! Cole is very focused on his own outer appearance, and making sure he looks good at all times and is polite and charming. But it's because he doesn't want anyone to know what a mess he is underneath. Ezra, though, really wants Cole to be comfortable and happy on the inside. #QueerPrompts
