It’s honestly been a long time coming. Immediately when the platform was bought, I cleared my account before they fucked with the API, but yeah. Just don’t want the baggage anymore.

I should do Facebook next… that account is slightly older since I signed up when you could only have friends within your same college, but since then, all Facebook has done is destroyed relationships with extended family by showing me their shitty opinions, so nothing would really be lost anyway.

It feels weird to have deleted one of my oldest accounts online. I created my Twitter in 2008 just so I could connect to Foursquare (after Dodgeball was bought and killed by Google). After the whole fiasco of Twitter being bought and destroyed from within, I kept it parked… but it’s now gone.

I mean, guess I can completely delete it all then. Just sucks, a lot of artists never made the move to Bluesky, it’s literally the only reason I kept it around.

I’m just going to purge it at this point then. They updated their rules literally just today and probably used some shitty AI to do it. I doubt I’ll get an actual response to any sort of appeal…
