The oldest car I've ridden in was a 1914 Trumbull cyclecar. The company had one of the most dramatic ends of any car company in history. On may 1st, 1915, 20 Trumbulls and the president of the company, Isaac Trumbull, boarded the Lusitania. Isaac, and the cars, and the company did not survive.

So glad I was able to find several of these pen holders for cheap. I've had 1 forever and it's been my fave pen holder. The lever-grip holds the nib better than in any other holder I've had.

Sometimes I think about how International Harvester had an engine with an overhead camshaft and balanced intake manifold in 1910 and realize cars were a lot more shit than they needed to be for decades and decades.

biiiiig Silk + Cassandra Cain commission done! where they're hanging was artist's choice, so of course i put 'em in a record store with the client's fave albums. soooo freakin fun 🕸️🎸🦇

This is a big mystery. What happened to the 1830's locomotive wheel that was displayed outside of the Redwood Library in Rhode Island for over a century? Going from photos, the wheel disappeared from the library in the 1970s. The library staff have no record of who took it, or where it is now.
