Liar. Small boat crossings peaked under Johnson in 2022 reaching 46,000 in 2022. In current year they are 18,565 and falling. Also prior to Boris Johnson's Brexit there were none.
It's a disaster, and it can all be traced to

Not long ago buses between Beckley & Rye were 1 per hr. Then they went to 1 per 2hr. Then yet more cuts & no Sunday service. So, today, when the 14.25 didn't turn up the next (& last) bus was 4 hrs later at 18.29. And they wonder why passenger nos fall when the 'service' is un-usable. #SaveOurBuses

The atmosphere just hit a new water-vapour record: 27.35 kg of water vapour per m2 in August 2026, ~20 trillion litres more water than the previous record. Warmer air holds ~7% more moisture per °C. More water vapour means more energy to fuel extreme weather.

The Oak Hook-tip moth is common and widespread. The larvae feed on oaks and the adults can be seen from April to October, with 3 generations in that time. www.sussexmothgroup.org.uk/site/species... This one was caught in a moth trap last night at Pett Level. @sussexwildlife.bsky.social
