Thought about CAMP MIASMA constantly since watching. Loved. It does universality through specificity. Could speak intimately to anyone who had an atypical sexual awakening. "Typical" prolly doesn't exist but we assume it does. MIASMA works like Gillian Anderson whispering “it’s OK, I won't judge.”

It's easy to dismiss because For Kids, but BLUEY missing the NYT best TV list is insane. I'd put "The Sign" on a list of greatest single episodes. (And given how much TV for kids is total garbage, esp now, that pushes BLUEY's value even higher.)

My origin game. All my first faves were arcade cabinets and Sinistar was weird and crazy difficult. But it also had a deep mystique. (Maybe there's a Sinistar -> Souls pipeline?) The cockpit version was key — the thing screaming at you, in crazy loud stereo, was my first immersive game experience.

What infuriates me about the Nvidia guy saying it doesn't matter if basic math is forgotten is that we lose stuff all the time without trying to! It's all written in water, not stone. We go out of our way to retain stuff that seems ineradicable, by teaching it to kids.
