Rural(ish)Heme/OncPA @ruralfmpa.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Found out a family left a phone recording (audio only) while I was doing a procedure in a patient room. I'm not at all worried, because I'm not an ass hole to patients ever--but that's just gross and weird. End rant. 010
Rural(ish)Heme/OncPA @ruralfmpa.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Excellent word for it. It still is. I can't wrap my brain around the world anymore. It has been a 6 year long nightmare. I would like to say "I don't know how we got here" but I do. 020

Some observations... -Strap anchors are trash -The person at the hardware who has helped me the last two weekends deserves a raise -Floating shelves are actually pretty easy to hang when you have the right tools/hardware -My house is about to get a bunch of floating shelves 000
Rural(ish)Heme/OncPA @ruralfmpa.bsky.social · 24/07/2026...but I'm not even sure that really answers the question. It made for really interesting conversation and I would love to get some thoughts on how you'd explain this to a 10 year old. 😊 000

At which point he asked if his brother was on life support. None of us (several nurses and myself) have any idea how to separate the two other than acute/unstable vs chronic/stable... 100
Rural(ish)Heme/OncPA @ruralfmpa.bsky.social · 24/07/2026I have kind of an interesting dilemma for all my medical folks. My good friend has a medically complex kid trach/vent/g-tube etc. He's outlived his life expectancy by YEARS and is doing great Her son asked why someone should go on life support (heard it somewhere). 100
